Leofinance - Democratizing Knowledge and Access to Finance
If you’re here in hive and you still haven’t heard about the leofinance zealy campaign I am here to tell you about it. Though I doubt there is still a soul on hive who still haven’t heard about it. Maybe you overheard people talking about it but you don’t really understand fully what it is about. Worry less as I will be telling you all you need to know about it in a few paragraphs ahead.
Let’s start from the top; leofinance. I believe everyone is already familiar with Leofinance. For the purpose of education and information, Leofinance is basically a community on hive just like your home country community. Just that leofinance is much more.
If you are looking for a place to go and enrich yourself in financial education free of charge, then leofinance is that place. The core mandate of Leofinance is to make financial education accessible to everyone without any bounds.
Yes leofinance is so much more than just another community on hive. Leofinance is almost an ecosystem of its own. There are other projects under Leofinance such as threads, which is the blockchain’s own version of Twitter and which comes with its own user interface. Leofinance also has its own User Interface and app. You can create an account on the leofinance app which is automatically your hive account. In other words you can create a hive account through leofinance.
Now, about the noise you have been hearing about LeoFinance.. As of the moment, leofinance is running a campaign to market the ecosystem to the world outside of hive. The ecosystem means all the products under the leofinance umbrella but much emphasis is on Threads(the web3 Twitter). This campaign is called the Leofinance Zealy Adoption Campaign. It is made of several quests for users(players) to complete to earn points. These points are called “experience points” or XP. Players are ranked in chronological order based on the amount of XP they have amassed. These quests are basically made of exercises to be performed on the leofinance ecosystem but most importantly has to do with inviting people to join leofinance to benefit from the products in the ecosystem.
The campaign will run until the end of May 2023(it started on 1st May), and at the end of the campaign players will be rewarded with a prize pool of 10K USD and 100K Hive Power in Delegations. This prize pool will be shared among the top 50 players in the quests. That is, the first 50players who have the highest amount of experience points from completing the quests are going to share this rewards pool.
