Classic car auction house Barrett Jackson is auctioning a 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham. This sedan was one of 400 units marketed in the '50s.
The 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham sold at a price of USD 189,200 or around Rp. 2.7 billion. The auction was held in Las Vegas, United States.
The sedan is manufactured directly at Cadillac's Clark Street factory in Detroit, United States. This car was designed directly by GM boss Harley Earl and designer Ed Glowacke.
In appearance, this car has a panoramic windshield, a four-door hardtop without pillars, and a suicide rear door. The roof is made of brushed stainless.
This Eldorado Brougham is built on an X-frame developed to maximize the performance of the air-ride self-leveling suspension. While the rear suspension uses 4-link the first production in the United States.
From the kitchen runway sector, this sedan is equipped with a 5,973cc LS V8 engine mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. In terms of performance, this engine is capable of producing power reaching 323 hp at 4,800 rpm and a peak torque of 543 Nm at 3,300 rpm.
This Cadillac Eldorado Brougham also features a number of additional features such as the Vintage Air, Dakota Digital dashboard, and Kicker Bluetooth stereo system. Then it is also equipped with a stainless roof, Dagmar bumper, badging details, side body cover with five horizontal wind splits.
