A rare sight is the humble week off, it means we can enjoy our own cars, and also detail, fix or tweak Valec the Honda Civic and Dorothy the Mercedes Benz.
It's a good job too as it's Dorothys MOT next week, in the UK vehicles over 3 years old need one every year, it's costs around £47 - also a really cool thing is you can check up on the MOT status and what it failed on through the UK Government website.
Ideal if your looking to buy a car.
The idea of the MOT is to keep cars safe and well maintained, it covers rather alot of things from structural to electrics and everything inbetween.
Mind you things do get missed, Ben once had a Ford Sierra that had a petrol tank leak, however you only found this out when you around 3/4 of a tank.
Ben found this by pure luck when he was 17 when he went to get back in and saw a pool of petrol, don't smoke em if you got em, it was soon fixed. He also had a Ford Orion that they halted halfway through due to structural integrity.
Hybrid wax ever used it? we haven't yet, we bought Turtle Wax and it'll be interesting to see how it works we also got some wheel cleaner too, however the most pressing matter is sorting out the stance of the C124 230CE, on the drivers side - the gap is half that of the passenger side.
She flew through last year here's hoping it's the same this year.
