The new MG ZS, arrived last week and this is our first look, it is still powered the SAIC and GM developed 1L Turbo 3 cylinder unit and has a 6 speed Automatic.
There are some exterior tweaks, new additions and some surprises.
The interior has some changes and there's more safety too and refinement,
We have this SUV all week, also our L200 Series 6 goes back.
Glad they have a conventional 6 speed automatic.
It's a good unit, fab in the Corsa Turbo, and capable enough in this with the 6 speed auto, thank you.
Cheers for the first look! It looks like a pretty great all-rounder car with loads of features and options, especially for the price. However, I'm just a tad bit disappointed at MG's new design language and ethos, given its long lineage of having made some truly amazing cars.
Understandably, its their first go and being reborn, but I can't help but notice how generic the appearance is, in a sea of cars that look more or less the same. Still, here's hoping that it'll see a proper return to form in the near future 💪
That's the challenge with an SUV, this is a bit different to the previous gen, people like what they like, hence changing it, may not appeal to the current owners who want to upgrade, we need a sport variant on our opinion, thank you.
Aye, that's true. Hopefully it'll get better generationally, and more importantly, it'll get funkier and more exciting. I've seen some snapshots of Vauxhall/Opel's upcoming Mokka, and it looks pretty cool. Not sure if its the same price bracket, but I'd love to see MG try something like that, and a sportier version is a great start to that journey. Cheers :-D
