I would like to share some details about My dream car, First of all, I would like to share I will go with an SUV, because In my native #Idukki #Kerala #India road condition suitable with higher ground clearance vehicles and First consideration is Safety and my second consideration is the car must be an Electric #EV.
As I mentioned in my intro post I came from a middle-class family, we can’t afford a price of more than INR 20 Lakhs(approximately $27000) In this range in our country #India we have a limited number of electric cars are available. In these limited cars, I will go with Tata Nexon EV. Car cost INR 14 Lakhs($19000) for the base model and costs about INR 17.4 Lakhs($23000)
The major advantage of this car is an economy car and it is five-star rated in the NCAP crash test, which means they give more priority for safety, and finally, it is a compact SUV, which is suitable for our road conditions.
Major advantage zero CO2 emissions and another major advantage is fuel saving cost and periodic maintenance cost as per the company information we will save almost 200000 INR ($2700) after 5 years, currently, I am using diesel car, it will almost cost 37000INR ($500)for periodic maintenance and fuel cost approximately 1lacs ($1400) yearly.
My friend and colleague Mr. Najid Pasha (CEO #SEEROOITSOLUTIONS ) using Nexon EV, from the last 6 Months of his experience cost of transportation is less compared with diesel or petrol cars.
