How was ya day?
Coz mine was quite hectic!
So have been planning to go visit my grandma, and today was the best day for that. I woke up around 7:00 in the morning I got prepared and I left with my jnr sister. We got there safely, and I thank God for that!
This is me.
My grandma is a type that loves "gist" or should I say she's a story teller. She can gist you from morning till night without getting tired. So we had fun and we really enjoyed her gist. So now we were about living around 12:30pm when grandma told me that today is masquerade day, I almost froze🥶 I was like asking her how, like why didn't you tell us since , we shouldn't have came today o.
I almost started crying🥺
So, that was how we bore a bike to take us from itak to our house.
On our way we saw this disgusting creature
(masquerade) I was so scared, this beings blocked the road , the didn't allow the okada man(driver) to pass, suddenly a masquerade from no were started chasing us , And we were on top bike. Chai! Tis today I know I had super powers 😂😂. The way I flew from the bike, myself I'm shocked. I jumped down and injured myself on the leg
. We ran into someone's compound just to be saved from being flogged by the masquredes.
Twas funny but at that moment I didn't find it funny lol. We couldn't still pass till around 1:38pm that the driver had to take another dimension. before we could arrive home twas past 3
I really thank God because, what have been hearing about the masquerade in itak is always very scary, and this is their season again. A lot of lives has been lost due to the carelessness of some villages.
Some find masquerade as fun but to me, I find it as danger
I hate masquerade so much especially because of today's incident...
