Hi everyone. I hope you all are fine. Christmas is here and may this bring happiness and joy in your lives. The weekend suggestions are here for the #weekend-engagement and I would like to continue with the one that asks about the act of kindness.
I am raised by parents who have always taught me to be kind to everyone at all the stages in my life. My mother still tells me to do things for those who deserve it. She is the one who always inspires me to be there for those in need and underprivileged. "We all are humans and we have to be there for our fellowmen" she says.
Coming to my act of kindness that I would love to do for the underprivileged if I could is to share warm clothes this winter. I have seen so many people on roads in my own city in rags. It is such a heart wrenching feeling watching them bear such cold. I really wish to something for them and this is the most suitable thing that needs to be done in this Christmas or even in winter.
As per my status and financial standing, I am not unable to do much in this regard because I belong to a humble background. But, My family has time and again distributed sweaters and used hoodies among people. We do not take pictures and do it low key so that the self esteem of the recipients is not affected.
Distributing warm clothes this Christmas should be our moto. It would bring so many smiles on the faces of such underprivileged people. A few days back my aunt called me to distribute some extra blankets that she had among poor people. She is yet another person who inspires me as an individual. I aspire to become like her. I would surely give my best to charity after my job. It makes me happy and content to contribute to the happiness of my fellow human beings. Maybe the coming Christmas, I would be able to do this. Let's just hope for the best.
