Living Miracle @adaopara

in Weekend Experiences3 years ago (edited)

Oneday my mum called all her children together to have a little chat, we all surrounded her and waited for her to start the gist. She said that when she first had us she was a bit of a handful, when we go out in public. We are just a few years apart so we practically expressed our childhood together. She said that one day we boarded a bus that might take us across town for our routine check up. The driver of the was speeding like he had somewhere to be and the occupants weren’t having it, urging him to slow down at every turn. The driver continued on his part not minding the occupants.

He failed to notice a train that was heading in a fast lane in our direction. We were about pass a train track and he was in no mood to slow down the vehicle. Maybe he missed the train that continued in its track. People in the train started to panic and pray for their lives. I don’t know how the brain works but I can’t seem to remember being in that situation. As if it never happened at all, as a child a vale covers our eyes to see what is harmful or not, that is why a child would see a glowing lamp and think it’s an interesting object to play with. My Mother said she held onto us and prayed for God to protect us from the danger, Behold the bus managed to pass the train track without any harm coming to the vehicle. She said it was like a dream, everybody in the bus said singing praise. It is only God that can do such a miracle, we were experiencing a miracle. When she ended the story my heart skipped a beat, at the same exact time I felt like laughing and I also crying at the same time. I remember that story everyday and now I remember that it is a living miracle. I have a purpose that is why the writer of my story decided for me to live on.

Thank you, Jesus.
