Greetings!
Being a parent or being a father to be specific sometimes requires that you are a jack of all trades. Sometimes I am forced to do something for my son where I have little experience. It is a good thing that I was exposed to so many things while I was young and with online information easily available from any mobile device it is now quite easy to be a jack of all trades, that is when my son asks me to do something for him.
And just yesterday (Saturday) I was forced to fix his bicycle because the rear wheel is wrongly installed (I have to remove it and then install it again), also, my son wants me to fix the wiggling chair of his bicycle, he also wanted me to remove the rear mudguard and the carrier that is also located at the rear.
After I removed the chair I tightened up the nut that makes it wiggling then I installed it back.
Next up is removing the wrongly installed wheel of the bicycle, with this to be fixed I have to remove the rear entirely and then put it back again. It is a good thing that I already have some tools in performing the task. And at this time I feel I need to wear hand gloves for me to avoid accidental scratches.
After untightening the nut I removed it by pulling it back just like I always see in bicycle service centers.
After removing the rear wheel I set it aside to be installed later,
And here's what it looks like after I removed the rear wheel.
Next up I removed the carrier and the mudguard also located at the rear of the bicycle.
But when I am about to install back the rear wheel my wife suggested that I get balancer wheels from my son's other bicycle, I obliged. Below is a photo of the wheel balancer from my son's other bicycle.
After I got the wheel balancer from the other bicycle I now proceeded to install the rear wheel and the wheel balancer and my job is already done. Below is a photo of my son's bicycle after I put the rear wheel back and the wheel balancer from the other bicycle.
I decided to rehabilitate my bike. I've discovered that watching youtube videos on bike maintenance is a lot easier than reading manuals.

Nice job! I was working on a bike today also, for my nephew, but didn't have as much to do as you. The end result of your efforts look good, I'm sure your son will be happy.
Thank you. And yes, my son is very happy when I finished. He immediately grabbed it and rode it outside.
