Ending the just celebration of the Eid Mubarak, the big Sallah break with us,the students having break since Wednesday. And with full energy of no stress work. I decided to go round the students area for some walks and see the encouragement. Wow. Gidan Kwanu is a great place, though a typical rural area with an average population of 1000 indigenous people of the same ethnic background. The Gbagys.
The coming of the school form the former site to the main site here it's what boost the growth of this community and exposure to, social amenities, employments and also growth in housing as students need accomodations to live.

As I went around, then I found these set of kids paying and what caught my attention was the katavumm vummm that he held and were marrying with. It made me remember my childhood days when I and my elder brother with the neighboring children will always be glad for the day to break for us to play on. I stopped and get myself closer to them. At first they ran away. Thinking I wanted to interrupt their joy. I smiled and called them back. They came with skeptical emotions and finally with confidence.

That game looks familiar. I think my grandmother showed us once how to play, but can't remember exactly. These days you don't see games like this played here as kids are busy with their gadgets, phones, video games and so on.
