Life comes with situations that leave us with no other option than either to face a lie or the absolute truth. Everything in life has both negative and positive. Every person has strengths and weaknesses when it comes to voicing out the truth or perfectly fabricating a lie to either save the situation or Wesson the situation. I can't conclude that telling lies is a bad thing to do. To me, it will be dependent on the situation. I know most religious books and denominations are against the habit of telling lies and being a liar as an individual.
When it comes to making a solid choice of being a perfect lier or being a straight forward truth telling machine, to be frank I can't choose any beacuse I do lie at times but always try any means possible to tell the truth. As a man born of a woman I can't always tell the truth, so I will always want my self and others to believe, everything I have ever heard and told others without considering either is the truth or lie. My reason is that some situations can only be perfectly solved to maintain peace only when a lie is told to deceive both parties.
This was an incident that occurred a few years back. It was between my best friend and his girlfriend. My friend traveled to a community near mine to have an affair with another girl. The main girl suspected something was wrong. She quickly contacted me to know either the guy has paid a visit to me, being surprised and not knowing what to say I had to tell her I wasn't at home and I had traveled to check on a movement some where and will be returning that evening so when I get home I would find out. As soon as I ended the call, I called my friend to find out, and he explained everything, so I had to keep lying to his girlfriend till he finishes with him mission with the side chick. I did as he requested just to save both relationship and also avoid confusion from occurring between them all. I lied, but I made the girlfriend believe I was telling her the truth.
There are some instances lying that will rather either Wesson once punishment or make settling of an argument more complicated. In a situation of being caught red-handed in an act you can make others believe you by telling a lie at that moment the only thing that can save you is telling the truth and apologizing to who ever you wronged in the cause of your action.
Making people believe what you say or you believing what you have ever heard can either be from a genieu story or fake story. Truth and lies are bound to human behaviour, and at a point, you will have to lie or tell the truth.
Advice; Always choose truth over lies.
