RE: [WE106] Weekend-Engagement posting topics - Fool Once, Not Again.

Oh I cannot even imagine the tongue lashing you got.

I didn't know you worked in a steel factory, it must have been interesting work, but Nightshift? I've done that and it is so bad for you! I had to stop after my body was in such a bad way from bad sleeping that I stood up one morning and I went temporarily blind. My doctor said it wasn't uncommon but that it was a warning sign. How long did you work night shift for?

Sort:

I worked that shift for a year and worked in that company as a whole for 2 and half years. It wasn't easy because the sleep routine and pattern was so messed up. Sleeping during the day is nothing compared to sleeping at night. It's why I felt I should have some fun with the girls before it backfired hahahaha.

Wow... temporarily blind? That must have been super scary. So sorry about it. That disruptive sleep can be detrimental

Working there was fun though because it's a big place and I related with a lot of people while meeting with a lot of people too but it's always stressful. It's a daily payment too but you only get it after every 15 days.

Thank you so much, my friend. I enjoy reading from you.

Gosh a year? I only managed 7 months. Your body knows when it wants to sleep and day sleep just confuses the heck out of it.

Losing your vision and not knowing if it will come back was one of the scariest moments of my life, I remember telling myself "Ok don't panic. Find the floor and crawl" It came back after a little while but it was a big wake up call for me.

It sounds like you learned a lot from working there and was overall not a bad experience.

Always nice to read your posts in the Weekend Engagement, thanks for taking part and being a sport.

Ok don't panic. Find the floor and crawl

That statement got me. Wow. I can imagine a lot of thoughts going through your mind that time. Wow. Really scary. I am glad you heed the warning signs and who knows if I had pushed too much further too, maybe things would have been bad. I am glad I got out when I did.

Thank you so much, Andra. Your words means a lot. 🤗. Cheers to a wonderful weekend ahead for you.

I literally had to go to ground, find the lounge and sit down, collect myself. Not the kind of thing I'd wish on anyone to be honest.

I'm glad you got back to a normal sleep pattern, broken sleep sucks.

Thank you Ola for always putting in posts and enjoying the community, the good quality is great to read.

Cheers to a great weekend for you too!

Absolutely and I am glad you are back too.

I am always honoured to be a part of this growing and wonderful community. Well done to you all for the hard work behind the scenes. It's impressive.
