RE: Cutting flowers and growing gardens

Hi Taraz

I agree with your sentiments. My investment into Hive has been tiny in comparison to many others, but I do feel strongly and passionately about it and I also want it to succeed.

As for Splinterlands, well I don't know how you will do the rest of the season in such a short time. I have never been able to work out the first thing about it and don't really know where people find the time.

A bunch of roses gets a sweet smile, but cut flowers don't last long. We need to grow a garden and teach the responsibility of attending to it. It is hard, when we as adults, can't even organize ourselves to function together and fight over the ground, rather than plant seeds.

This is so accurate, it's difficult to get cohesion in such a chaos filled world.

I hope you all have a nice weekend though and your work session goes well, is your colleague still sick?

I think that a real community is made of people who feel strongly and passionate, regardless of their "wealth" at any point in time. There are many ways to contribute here and time and effort in is a massive part of it!

My colleague is quite good and can make it - as long as her husband doesn't get sicker (he has Covid now) as they have a young kid and no babysitter under these conditions. Fingers are crossed though :)

That's true, I guess everyone started as a small fish in a big pond at one point, thank you for the reminder.

I'm glad that she will (hopefully) be there and you will be able to divi up the work. I'll hold thumbs for you (that's the South African version of fingers crossed).

Very sweet that small steps loved getting her very own bunch of flowers, sounds like she was proud of her performance 😊

"hold thumbs" :D
I have never heard that before!

Times were a bit different when I joined in some ways, but in others - it is quite the same here - hard work tends to pay off, but it takes time and patience too.
