a weekend full of music

Hello dear hive community, this time I want to tell you about the concert in celebration of the 24th anniversary of the Los Teques metro to be held this weekend in the state of Miranda, Venezuela.

The concert was full of wonderful energy with the youth orchestra of Los Teques, plus the regional choir of Los Altos Mirandinos and the children's singers and clear voices of the Los Teques nucleus under the direction of myself, in total we were 160 musicians on stage giving a moment of joy to the entire community of the teques.

It was my first time directing in Los Teques and working with the Los Teques Nucleus, thank God I received the invitation to work for a few days with the youth orchestra of the Los Teques Nucleus and it was really very gratifying all the results that we showed this weekend of the week in celebration of the Los Teques metro and also welcoming Christmas in the municipality.

The repertoire of the concert was varied, we were able to play both national works and composers such as Haendel and Bizet, and some Venezuelan composers.

We begin by opening the concert with a work called toreadores by Bizet, a technically complex work for some youngsters who are growing up with their instrument but as they play it gives them great agility, then Haendel's Alleluia, a glorious work, full of counterpoint and a magnificent choir, then some more Venezuelan works, such as the alma llanera that is like our second anthem and another work called Venezuela, without a doubt it is a piece that moves us all.

There is no doubt that the Venezuelan orchestra system is a hotbed of great people for the future of the world, always betting on better human beings and not only in Venezuela but throughout the world.
