Last Sunday my friends and I went to a place near the city where they teach you how to kayak and let you travel with them in a 1-hour trip.
It was the first time I did kayaking, I never tried before, the experience was very funny because a felt of the kayak twice, but I had a life jacket (and I know how to swim as well). This kind of activity is better to do with people you know, everything gets funnier, and you enjoy it more.
The instructor did us the favor of taking pictures when we were in the water because he was the one with the most experience and of course he wouldn't fall off.
One of the principal characteristics of my city is that it is always sunny (or most of the time) making it so hard to open our eyes and smile at the camera, despite that inconvenience I like the pictures taken.
The cost of the trip was $10 each person, I think the price is fine because you enjoy it a lot and the instructors are very friendly. I would be nice to know how much it costs for the same activity in other countries.
As you can see, they give you all the implementations and materials to do kayaking. I recommend bringing sunglasses, I did it, but they aren't waterproof, so I left them in my backpack to avoid damaging them.
One of the things we liked the most was the view, everything looked so amazing, and it was so cool to be able to see from the lake. The Maracaibo's Lake is famous and recognized internationally, but mostly from the enormous bridge my city has, but we were in other are far away from that bridge, so we couldn't take pictures under them.
Despite that, we took many photos behind some buildings in the sector, in my opinion all of them looked great.
Since it was my first-time kayaking, it was very hard for me to maintain stability (that's why I fell off twice), but after I keep going, I got used to it very quickly, I'm sure that anyone can do this activity without problem, even if you fell off the kayak the area where we were playing wasn't deep, and still you have a life jacket for 100% protection, so is impossible to get drown there.
Another good piece of advice to know is that you need to listen to and be aware of the instructions said, they always give you tips to not get tired quickly and enjoy all the trip, because we did kayak for 1 hour, and you get devastated at the end.
To be honest I will do it again, they have longer trips (more expensive of course) and with other beautiful views like this one. This was an experience that was totally worth it.

all the photos were taken from my friend's phone, and she let me post them
Hi Antonio
This looks awesome. You did well having only fallen in twice! First time I kayaked I fell in a LOT more. A great skill to have and once you get the hang of it, it is really relaxing.
Thanks for sharing it.
Have a great day/night
