Amusement park has always been one of my bucketlists. Even though most of the rides are scary, it will always be my dream to conquer the fear I have in myself. This amusement park I've visited really tested myself on how I could able to surpass a span of 3-5 minutes scary moments in my entire life. And yet, I could say it was really the scariest moments that made me say “I'll never go back here or I'll faint."
Most of the rides that I've tried here made a good and bad impact in my life which means it gave me the reasons not to try again, on the other hand, this amusement park will always be in my heart. I admit that I have a phobia of heights and most of the rides I tried had really made me shout not because of excitement, but because of how frightened, afraid, and nervous I am. Nevertheless, it was already off in my bucketlist which for me, I think is the most important thing.
Without further ado, let's look for different rides in this great amusement park and please don't forget to fasten your seatbelts well, and most importantly enjoy and seize every moment...
Before Embarking
Before entering at the Theme Park, I need to take a picture from the outside, so that I can have pictures to keep in my phone and yet upon entering, I was already excited to ride different rides because of its mesmerizing view.
The Queue
Since it is weekend, there a lot of tourists who spend their time enjoying this park and that means a long queue for the ticket. Luckily, the queue was not that long yet. Since the park has a lot of rides, I chose and grabbed the unli ticket which costs $11 or ₱600 in which we can enjoy unlimited rides in the park.
Availablity Time of the Rides
When I about to enter the place, there was a one person who reminded me of the schedule of the rides and of course for me to not go back and ask again, I captured it so that I can have a little idea on what rides are available on a specific time and can anticipate what to ride next.
Map of the Park
Before to start the enjoyment part, it is important to know the map of the park first, so that we can anticipate and choose firmly on what to ride first and to familiarize the place for us to save time since I went there at 4pm and the park will close at 8pm. Yet, it was unlimited rides but a limited time, so I suggest to better know the place first.
Priceless Reaction
This was when I walked towards this ride and I saw some tourists who keep on shouting because of excitement and I think it is also because of nervousness knowing how high it was.
Tower Drop
At this moment, this was the time when I entered the vicinity and was waiting for my turn to ride this Tower Drop. Also, this was the ride I chose first. I still remember how nervous I was while riding this so called Tower Drop. It was an experience that I would definitely never forget of how it made me screamed, “I won't ever ride this tower drop again" so loudly.
I will really tell you how I feel about this ride, it is really scary for those who have fear of heights. As a person who has that kind of fear, it made me realized to not to ride again, but it was a nice experience though. Nevertheless, it is a must try if you want to forget your problems for a while.
By the way, I wasn't able to record my reaction, since most of the rides requires us to not bring any gadgets or things for safety purposes.
The Vikings
This was my second ride. This was just basic for me, but it made me feel dizzy afterwards. Still, it was a ride that made feel frightened and cold at the same time. The thing that I don't like in this park is that we are not allowed to use our phones even though some rides were safe, but the good thing in this ride is; there is someone who will take a picture of you while feeling your best on riding.
The Golden Carousel
As you can see, it is literally a golden carousel because of its golden color. Anyway enough for that, this was the next ride that I tried after The Vikings. I want to ride this because I want to try a not so thrilling ride, because the two rides really drained my energy and I just want to ride a horse as if I'm riding a real one.
Anjo Eye
Having a fear specifically on heights is not easy, even though this ride is kinda basic because you just need to sit and watch for the view, but as a person who has that kind of phobia, I kinda want to stop the ride and I just won't ever ride this again, but it was memorable though.
Just a little trivia: I really do have fear of heights and I know this for years already. I just know this kind of fear when everytime I would go in the mall specifically in the 2nd or 3rd floor, I don't really have the guts to watch below, because it makes me feel I already fell.
The Boomerang
This is the ride that I swear and I promise to not to ride this again, over my dead body. To be honest, I almost fainted during the ride, because I was really scared. It will literally makes us see the heavens and the earth. This ride is the most thrilling ride out of all the rides I tried here at Anjo.
In this ride, I thought I might fell huhu but it was safe to ride. Some people like this ride; and some did not, and I am one of those. Anyways, if you ever tried this ride can you please tell me what's your experience and if you did not try it yet, I swear we will be having the same reaction or the opposite, but yes worth the try.
Also, it is the ride where we can shout all our problems and grudges in life and it can really make you scream the name of our Creator. Nevertheless, I am proud of myself for trying the most thrilling ride.
The Pharaoh
The Pharaoh was not available, because it was under maintenance. I was unlucky at that time, because I really want to try their rollercoaster ride and I will try to compare it from the Boomerang. Anyways, there will always be next time.
The Space Shuttle
The Space Shuttle is not available too. Based on my perspective, the ride is basic and it won't give me some thrill, but I want to try them all. I will definitely go back here and try this little shuttle and children's bet to ride.
Hip Hop
After the Boomerang, I really want to try another ride as if I didn't almost faint, but I was telling myself after the Boomerang that all the rides are kinda basic, and yet, I was wrong because I though it's kinda basic, but it made me almost vomit and it made me dizzy. So, I can really tell that amusement park is not really for me as a dizzy person, but it was fun and worthy to try.
Bumper Boats
This was the last ride that I tried. This Bumper Boats will squirt some water and you just need to know who you will target. I really enjoy this ride even though it splashed some water on my clothes, but I was not that wet because I was enjoying driving the boat and at the same time squirted some water to the other people and drove away from them.
This was the last ride because it was almost 8pm at that time which was the closing time of the park. I didn't get to enjoy all the rides, but I did have fun and made a memorable day and night in my entire life. (As if I didn't almost vomit and faint hehe).
Some Insights and Realizations
All of my past blogs are mostly about healing my inner child. It was difficult to heal my inner child in me since poverty is one of the factors of achieving that kind of thing. It is the factor that I need to overcome everyday, but I'm beyond thankful that I already get the chance healing myself day by day.
This Amusement Park had also made me forget how hard life is. It made me shout for joy, nervousness, and all the frustrations and grudges I have here in my heart. Even though it scares me a lot, but the feeling after I shouted all what's in my heart, I feel free and at peace after the longest time of feeling the opposite. Therefore, it feels great to express our hidden feelings that we never get the chance to talk about it to others.

I've always wondered what Anjo World looks like. I'm used to visiting big amusement parks but reading it from our perspective, it can be a therapeutic and fun experience. Once my nephew is old enough, I will definitely have a 1-on-1 time with him here.

What a delightful and exhilarating adventure is. I so love to be there. Heheh. At first, I had a fear of heights but I conquered it. I love to have those thrill rides but not with Octopus anymore if ever there is one there. And the Viking is cool. More to go and have safe travels sis.

I had my first amusement park experience at Star City and I learned that although I have motion sickness, I have no problems with fast rides. It's the slow ones like carousel or ferries wheel that makes me nauseous. Haha. I would definitely visit Anjo World one day. Thanks for sharing, this post and your insights are very helpful. ✨🤍
How I wish I was like you who is not afraid of fast rides, although bearable naman.
