Greetings, my dear friends of Hive Community. I'm Avonn, I'm glad to be back. In the last post, I shared with you a short trip I took to Hue last weekend. For two days this weekend, I attended summer camp 2022 in my small town and I would recommend it to everyone.
Every time summer comes, the youth union in my town organizes summer camps to get to know and connect young people between the neighborhoods. Before that, everyone in each neighborhood will have to make camp gates and practice, equipped with skills in dances, folk dances, deciphering secret letters, and semaphore,... Until the camp takes place, they will compete against each other. to bring victory to his neighborhood.
On the afternoon before the camp, everyone brought the camp gate to set up. The main material for making camp gates is bamboo. Besides, the camp gate will be decorated with tools such as led lights to glow in the evening or tinsel to make it sparkle during the day. Although in a very short time, everyone has created the gates are monumental and elaborate.
This camp takes place for two days and one night with many exciting activities. Each of us was given a camper card to be able to participate. We had to be there at 6 AM to prepare for the opening ceremony. After the opening ceremony was over, it was time to start the games. Since I'm also a participant, I couldn't record much. But I will introduce you to a few games that I find impressive.
The first is the game of speed 'tank'. Each team will send 10 members to participate, these people will have to enter a large canvas prepared by the organizers, and they must control it so that the 'wheel' rolls to the finish line as soon as possible. This game requires health, ingenuity, and also teamwork. Everyone has to work well together for the wheel to go fast 😁.
The next game is equally interesting, it is called Caro bingo. There is a 4x4 caro grid, the winning team will be the team that captures any vertical, horizontal, or diagonal row. However, you do not use pen and paper, but run up to mark the checkered boxes with colored fabrics provided by the organizers. This is a tactically demanding game, you need to observe and calculate quickly to put a few colors in the appropriate squares. This game gets a lot of cheers from everyone, it creates a very lively atmosphere.
The last game that I want to introduce is called the speed army. In this game, teams need 10 members, each team is given a buoy, clamped between the members' legs, and moved from the starting line to the finish line. Along the way, other team members will create obstacles for the float tube to fall to the ground. The team that still holds the float and finishes first will be the winner.
When the night came, we started to gather in a big circle and then had fun, singing, dancing to the music around the campfire and also had very special dance and funny makeup. I was most impressed with the makeup contest, people used materials such as paper, and plastic bags to create costumes, that was to spread the message of environmental protection.

The camp has ended successfully. It has left me with many memories, although quite tiring, mixed with joy, victory, and regret. I have also made many new friends, which is the greatest joy for me.
