Saturday Selections: #5

It's been a long week.

A tiresome week is probably a better way to describe it as I've been really busy with things and only barely managed to keep my head above the waterline. Work has been hectic, it's a time of year thing, and I have some things in the planning process that have meant all my free time, as if I really have any of that, has been spent focused on that. My guy has helped where he can but he's also busy so...well, I'm just really glad it's Saturday.

I've hardly had much time for listening to music this week but thought I might share a few tracks I heard playing on the digital radio station I listen to in my car; it's these, and tracks like them that give me small moments of respite in otherwise hectic days. They're all a little older, but are still good i think.

Here's another Saturday Selections installment, one of a series of posts in which I share some music I've been listening to. I know you won't like everything I select and that's ok, it's my selection after all.

If you like music and want to share some with the rest of us you're free to do so and maybe you'll even help someone find some music they haven't already discovered. If you wish to use the #saturdayselections tag that's ok too, it's a free space to do as you wish.

What a great selection today! I know all of them and they are really good... that era has been very good in voices, variety and lyrics. I love today's list and really enjoyed it. I listened to the first one several times, I really like it. Thanks Becca.💗

I'll share with you some of what I've been listening to.

I really love Dido, she is a lovely singer and from what I understand is that type of person also. This is a really nice song you have shared.

Thank you very much, I hope you are having a lovely Sunday, hug.💗

Hello, how are you!
From your selection of songs I only remember Lucas, as soon as I heard the first chords the bell of memories rang, what a beautiful song, even my heart trembled a little...of sadness...but it's beautiful, very beautiful.

I was thinking which one to share with you, one that I enjoyed many years ago when I was a little girl who wanted to dance like the protagonist of this beautiful movie: Flasdance.

Feliz lunes para tí.

I know that song, quite uplifting and I think the movie was that way also however I've not actually seen the movie.
