The weekend arrived much faster than I'd expected it to this week. When I started out, looking at what I knew was going to be a busy week, I felt quite dismayed but fortunately it went by nicely and with no major drama or roadblocks; that's the sort of week I like. Now it's the weekend and I'm pleased to look at it, and the plans I have, and know I'm in for a really nice one with my guy, a weekend of relaxation, some excitement through one of the activities we have in mind, and along the way we'll listen to some music of course
My guy and I really enjoy music and usually there's something playing as we go about our day together and individually; we have similar tastes in music but don't always agree but that's ok we're two individual people as well as a couple so having varied tastes in things is to be expected.
Here's another Saturday Selections installment, one of a series of posts in which I share some music I've been listening to. I know you won't like everything I select and that's ok, it's my selection after all.

Hello my funny krazzy man...I had to get in early today and was hoping no one noticed but sure enough, you did. It's ok though, I don't think the weekend police will catch up with me, I have on my Nike's and know how to use them. I'm the fastest runner in the state of Texas. Honest.

Me and my partner has an opposite interests when it comes to music, but during weekends we also find some time as and things to do to relax and enjoy together.
It's nice that you can find common ground and I'm sure you find many things to enjoy on the weekend even though you don't enjoy the same music.

What beautiful voices, it was nice to close my eyes and listen, just listen. The first one, above all, I liked it very much, it brings back images of my life for example. Thank you for this selection, it's excellent!

I'm glad you found something you liked, there's some nice tracks, in my opinion. I think it's important not to close our minds off to things that we might not usually like because we could miss out on something really good.

How nice that you and your guy have plans to relax and have a good time with music and cool activities. Music always brings people together, even if we don't always agree on everything. I love your “Saturday Selections” initiative, so people can discover new songs and genres. Let's see if one of these days I get up the courage to share something under that label.
I have an initiative called, My musical Sunday and I only put one song but it will be the genre that marks all my musical Sunday.
Music is something that can connect people and I like that aspect of it, and also how it reaches inside me and makes me feel differently, better, happier or whatever is required at the time.

First song sounds really calming, it sounds good. And the second song is from 9 years? I haven't heard it before 🤔, same with number 3. But out of all, I like number 3 more. I love the vibe and it's beat, especially the voice, so unique and my ears really limove it ✨.
Isn't it nice to discover some new music we may not have heard before or have not heard for a long time.
