It's rare that I'd leave home without having put perfume on first, a habit I've formed over years I suppose but it probably goes much deeper than that. It feels nice to have a lovely scent, a dab on my neck and wrists, and I believe it helps leave an impression. I only ever want to impress my guy of course and love the way he leans into my neck to deliver a light kiss and how he never fails to say, "mmm, you smell nice." I think he'd say that whether I wore perfume or not, he loves the scent of my shampoo and comments on it all the time, but I love the effect my perfume has on him. It's physical, emotional and I imagine psychological as well, and I love to feel desired by him.
Perfume is a personal thing for most people and I prefer to wear what I like; I can't imagine how annoying it would be wearing a scent all day that I didn't like just to please someone else. Wearing a scent I love makes me feel happy, sensual, confident and emotional and those things leave me feeling positive which is how I prefer to feel.
I have had favorites and they've changed as I've changed, are different depending on season and occasion and as new fragrances are released. I'm a simple girl though so mostly stick to those I know well which means I don't have very many perfumes, just the favorites.
Today, I will say my favorite is Angel which is made by designer Thierry Mugler. It's a very sensual perfume and my guy really loves it. He actually loves all of the perfumes I wear but he loves this one the most. I ran out quite a while ago and didn't replace it immediately because I wanted to use up the others but it was eventually replaced and it's cute to see the effect it has on my guy, especially the first time I wore it in a long time; he's predictable. Honestly though, it effects me too, I feel womanly, sensual and sexy when I wear it and I think all women should feel those things.

I can't say I'm a fan of perfume. A dab on the wrist and neck is fine but many people tend to overdo it leaving a sickening trail behind them wherever they go.
A lot of people overuse it I think; a woman should be seen before she's smelled.

When I was younger, wearing perfume was like a pre-requisite .
Now, sadly I couldn't as due to my sensitive nose .
But it was really nice to have one
It's a shame that your nose is sensitive; it must be difficult when you're out in public with all the scents others wear or that occur in society these days.

Oh I was already wearing facemask in public even before pandemic
What a beautiful song, how I love it!
It's true that perfume is very important in a woman, I like sweet scents, for example roses or freesia, the scents of flowers above all. I feel very good, sensual and even lifts the mood if it is not very good.
Hugs Becca.💗
It's quite a nice song isn't it? It's one of my favorites and I actually saw Robbie Williams live once and he sang this one so well and with so much passion.

It's beautiful and you got the chance to see it live, that's great! Nice week Becca.💗
It must be a good perfume, there are scents that by their delicate and intimate essence make you feel very good, the effect is like receiving an aroma therapy...
Perfumes like music stimulate your energies and your attitude...and certain scents make you look with a beautiful personality that makes you stand out from the crowd...even if it's not the idea of wearing perfume to attract attention it happens.
When you wear a perfume of your choice you have the sensation of feeling good about yourself, as if you are lighter and cleaner...it's gratifying and beautiful.
I agree with all you say, it aligns with what I said in this post quite week I'd say.
Do you have a favorite scent for yourself or the man in your life?

My boyfriend loves Issey Miyake, but he hasn't had it for a while, we can't find it here, the same happens to me with Anaís Anaís Cacharel, a delicious women's perfume...but we have others that are also pleasant to wear...the world of scents is very rich, although in all skins they are not perceived in the same way.

I loved this, one of my all time favorites. I don't have any at the moment but I'd like to get some in the future. Maybe my guy will surprise me someday.

Ah, Thierry Mugler! One of the best and most underrated designer perfume houses out there. I had a 2010 Edition of Pure Havane that I got from a friend, it was a classic; vintage status. Sadly, I decided to let it go just a few months ago; ended up giving it to a friend who's a proper perfume enthusiast, and I did so because it would be better off in his hands.
You have a friend who is a perfume enthusiast? I wouldn't call myself a perfume enthusiast, there's much better things to be enthused about however I enjoy wearing a scent.

Yes, I actually have many friends who are experts when it comes to perfumes. Most of them are in the perfume business too. It's all about preferences, likes and dislikes I guess.
