There are different styles of going to the beach regarding where you are located. For example, I didn't know until really late that going to the beach early wasn't a thing that people did in my hometown. When you live near the sea, going to the beach is more of noon/afternoon activity.
I have to say that is the dumbest thing possible. In a city like Cumaná, the Sun is a force to reckon. It is going to scorch your skin if you don't take precautions. And going during the hours where it is at it zenith is just not taking into consideration the fact that skin cancer exists.
Anyways, the early hours are great as the sun isn't trying to get you cooked and the beach might be a bit empty. You can see the beautiful landscape and enjoy piece. When a lot of people comes by, the noise and other things become a problem. The beach being empty also carries on the danger of being robbed. That's the bad thing about it.
Now going during the later hours of the afternoon is a treat. Cumaná has some quality sunsets. And that cannot be argued enough. Yes, it is usually an hour when the sea isn't calm, but you can take some breathtaking photos of the hues in the sky and maybe enjoy some romantic moments.
For me the best beach day isn't about the hour. That's just a situation that happens to be on the table. It is all about company. Two weeks ago, I had the chance to go with @octocel to a birthday celebration of who used to be my Psychology Professor at college. We got together earlier that day to make yet another cake. This one had rum in it. So it was sold very quick during the party.
We spent the afternoon talking about some serious things and telling stories. We did this under a tree by the shore while watching the sea and its waves break on the beach. Then, we got in the water. And it was a funny thing to struggle with the waves, but it was a great time. Among talk and kisses and looks and flirting, we got to watch the sunset.
And we couldn't have had a better way to spend the day. Then, came the hour of photos. And we did take lots and lots of them. I just wanted to show some of those takes. The perfect time in the beach implies the best company possible. And if there isn't any, there's nothing wrong with enjoying the landscape by yourself. So I guess the best beach day is all about what you do with your time on the sand, near the sea while your body gets covered in salt and you feel the touch of the sun.

What a great moment and I'm so glad you had it. It's true, the important thing is not the time but the company and the beautiful place. Beautiful pictures!
And I'm going to the beach once again tomorrow 😁
Enjoy!!!
