Good evening my Hive family.
Hope our weekend has been a blossoming and happy one? as for me my weekend has ended on a very happy note. hahaha.
.....And so my story goes thus.
I have an aunt who stays in the US, she called me sometime around March this year that she had sent some things for my family and that we should get them by May or June, my kids were so excited and expectant.
Low and behold, June came and passed there were no traces of the arrival of the sent goods.
She (my aunty)called the agent man and he told her there was an issue with the cargo but it would be sorted out, it got to a stage my kids removed their mind from it.
###will that be the end???.
Hmmm, my people, that was the question I asked myself when I did not receive any call from the agent.
But at the beginning of September, I got a call from one of the agents asking for my home address, I was so excited and immediately sent my home address to him.
I was thinking that I would receive the goods that week, I even told my kids about it and they were happy again. lol
After that week, I called the agent's number it was not connecting, I felt so bad and very disappointed.
And just last week Friday, the agent man called again to ask if I was in town and that he would deliver my goods to me by Saturday, I confirmed my availability... Only for him to tell me to pay a particular amount, send payment details to him.
I called my aunty but she said she had made every payment and that u should not give him a dim but the guy insisted that if I wanted my goods I should make the payment.
I had no choice,I made the payment and sent proof of payment to him. He did not bring it on Saturday as promised, I was so furious with him that day.
.....And so on Sunday afternoon my goods were delivered to me but one carton was missing, I refused to allow him to go, but he pleaded with me that he would sort it out and I would get my item by the next weekend.
My kids were so happy that finally our long-awaited goods had been delivered... Hurray
This is the picture of the goods sent by my aunty.
But some questions kept coming to my mind.
Why did the agent ask for extra fees when all payments had been made already by my aunt?
Was I foolish to have made the payment?
Please my family, kindly give your suggestions in your comments, so I will know what to do next.
Although he gave me their warehouse address, for me to be able to track him when needed.
