Weekend Adventure: Re-Visiting Pinaglabanan River in Cawag, Subic

Did you miss my travel blogs? It has been a while since I last wrote one, and honestly, I missed sharing my adventurous life updates too. If you are wondering why I went on hiatus lately, it is because of the busy schedules I have at work plus I worked on some of my clients for content writing. But recently, I decided to have some adventures outdoor.

It was a fine and chill weekend when we talked about going to Pinaglabanan River again. We already went here years ago, and it is now time to go back as the place began to be hyped up online.

We woke up a little early on a Sunday morning, and had some quick breakfast before we parepared all the things that we need on this adventure - we prepared the foods, clothes, and more. Then, we headed to our wonderful nature trip.

We were welcomed by mountains and greenery, which I easily fell in love with. We had to hike and walk for minutes, and it was quite tiring since the sun is already up when we started the adventure.

About 15 minutes after, we already heard the water flowing and we knew we were almost there. And we were right! We saw the rocks, the river, and the amazing view.

Of course, we have to prepare our foods. Since we are outdoors, we had to improvise and be creative on how we can cook our food. My partner focused on that one. You can see it in the pictures below.

We brought a lot of foods with us, from rice, drinks, desserts, and some snacks. We have my 10-year old nephew with us so we have some sweets, soda, and chips that he will enjoy. Also, we have some bananas with us!

We did not capture the moment when we started eating since we were really hungry and no one wants to take pictures. After eating, we just had a few talks and conversation about random things before we decided to go finally swim at the river.

I let them go first because I wanted to take some pictures of the surroundings. The challenging trail and the tiring walking for minutes are worth it. Pinaglabanan River is indeed a paradise, and gets us closer to nature.

I would never forget taking pictures of myself for the blog. I asked my nephew to find a good angle while I sit at one of the stones. He captured a photo of me, and I loved it! Here's your wanderer blogger once again.
