There were a lot of exciting things that happened and there will be more since I entered another phase of my life - The Married Life. But as of now, I am most excited of our first BABY! Yes, you heard me right, after six months from our Wedding, Grace is finally pregnant!
Our Upcoming Baby Excites Me the Most
It was last November when Grace had a pregnancy test, and I was so happy that it turned out to be positive. We immediately applied for a maternity package in a hospital to ensure that Grace will have the right prenatal checkups and pregnancy guide, and of course, to have a discount in hospital bills.
Grace already had the TVS or Transvaginal Ultrasound last November. I shed a tear when I saw the first ever photo of our first baby! That was the first time that I felt the exact meaning of the famous line, "tears of joy". I was genuinely happy when I saw it.
Grace is 15th weeks, 3 days pregnant as of today (January 28, 2023), so she is already on the 2nd Trimester of her pregnancy. According to the mobile application that we installed, our baby has the same size of a pear. That is so awesome right?
What Excites Me More?
I am excited to become a father. Although, I did not have a good example of a father, I am still grateful for my father because he made me realize why he failed. This thought makes me fear a little, but I know and believe that I can make it. I know I will make mistakes and will not be a perfect father, but I will do my best to be the best that I can be.
I am excited to know my baby's gender. Please don't get me wrong, I want a boy, and I also want a girl. It really doesn't matter what will be the gender. But, I am just excited what it will be. If it will be a boy, I want to name him Elijah Theodore, and if it will be a girl, I want to name her Olivia Celeste. But of course, with my wife's approval. 😃

It was April who suggested the name Odyne - kasi first name ko is Oliver so dapat daw letter O din ang start ng name ng baby naming. the Faith naman is something we discussed years ago pa bago pa kami maging mag gf bf gusto nya daw may Faith yung magiging name ng baby nya.
Wala akong maisip na name sa girl I only have a name sa lalaki which is Azariah pero wala gurl ang naging baby namin hahah.
Nice one! I prepared two names na talaga for both genders para ready. gusto namin both na parang classic yung name ng baby namin. Parang old skul kasi kami 😅 kaya nga vintage ang theme namin sa prenup.
