Last pre-Christmas weekend and in the city the thematic events multiply involving most of the people who really want to enjoy some serenity and tranquility at least in the last period of the year. We participated in the Christmas markets where local artists and artisans were able to sponsor their products or works and part of the proceeds are donated to a local association that deals with people with disabilities.
Music, colors, party are the words that best describe the evening and we took our son to have fun because where there is music he dances non-stop. Everything was child-friendly, including Santa's large sleigh with glowing reindeer and gifts stacked in the basket. Obviously, the euphoria of the children generated a long queue at Santa Claus, all eager for a souvenir photo and some children confessed their favorite gift for December 25th.
Meanwhile, some street artists took turns to entertain the public who constantly flocked to the square. A musical band of boys delighted visitors with Christmas songs as they marched through the markets, perhaps creating a bit of a crowd and confusion due to the multitude of people present.
Christmas lights enveloped every tree in the square, illuminating the trunks and highlighting the beauty of the thick foliage. Other lights in the shape of a jester's hat surrounded the square, a symbol of the evening. In fact it was inaugurated the opening of a restaurant, called appunro il giester, which will have as part of the staff, boys and girls with disabilities and who, in an absolutely professional way, will play their role even better than their predecessors.
A beautiful reality that is already associated with a bar inaugurated a few months ago with the same methodology. Colored lights are projected against the restaurant facade, an unmistakable sign that something new and beautiful will envelop our lives in the future. In this engaging atmosphere, a very tall Santa Claus suddenly appeared, a skilled equilibrist, who began walking among the public giving numerous smiles to the little ones but also to adults.
A beautiful Christmas evening, music, fun and entertainment. Christmas is almost here, there are really a few days left and everything is moving so fast. I remember well that last year in this same period there was the lockdown, no demonstrations were allowed, so the joy of this party is double. Obviously all those present were equipped with a mask for individual protection. The hope is that fun occasions like this weekend will be increasingly present in our lives.
Christmas is coming... I'm looking forward the christmas tree in your place.
