I have so many pictures from the things we’ve done but I’m going to stick with something recent!
Fishing has been one of my favorite things to do for a long time. I’ve been doing it since I was a kid when my dad showed me how to fish and what to do. It’s a great way to relax and pass time but what I enjoy the most about it is the memories of spending time with my dad. Some of my earliest memories are fishing which I really enjoy. I’m hoping that by doing this same thing with our son he will be able to look back when he’s my age fondly on the memories of fishing with me. It’s a fun way to also connect back with nature, something that is becoming less popular to do by many people. It’s one of the things that I want to try my best to change, through our son and other kids if I can get them to come with us. Fishing is also a way to teach someone patience and appreciation of nature, the fish are the first ones to die and show signs of bad things with water.
I bet you haven't taught him the how to hold your mouth trick yet.
Nature-fish!
It's good that you're teaching the little guy stuff like this, so many let kids play on a device and lie to themselves that it's to help them develop, an educational game when it's really about giving the parent time to be on Facebook.

Hahah sorry I was trying to hammer out a comment while Siena and the little man were in the store. We went to the beach today, a definite runner up to my choice of where I would love to be with the natural world but that’s a given for us. Being on a lake or a river fishing is my spot for sure. It’s relaxing, very quiet usually and you can connect back with nature and the plants and animals around you.
All good mate, we do what we do when we can right?
I'm not much of a fisher to be honest, more a hunter, but I don't mind having a fish now and then...Even if I don't catch anything. Lol.
