I'm pumped that you found some people to connect with for skating dude!
I had a pretty solid crew of skaters for many years, some of my friends became amateur skaters for some local and national companies before things happened that stopped them from skating the way they used to. I was never good enough to be sponsored but I think I had a fair amount of tricks I was good at, it was definitely a lot of fun and some of the best times I could have asked for growing up. One of my favorites was definitely tre's. I think I had a good style to them, with what I felt was the most stylish was a fakie tre. It might have looked like shit to others but my perspective they looked cool lol.
I have never been good at board parks, I love to ride them and hit the smaller jumps but I get nervous with speed on those areas so I know now that's my downfall lol. I always think I'm going too fast and I'm gonna clear the landing and break my leg. I've had a few tough falls over the years, nothing broken but scary nonetheless lol. I love medium jumps that have a landing area, love pulling indies and methods and stuff over them.
Jay has one of the better ticket prices for mountains in the area but the best thing about jay is the glades! I literally spent an entire day in the glades and was happy as a pig in shit. It’s so chill but challenging being in there especially on a board.
Thanks dude, I have tried to keep a low profile with stuff for our son so I don’t get hurt when he needed a lot of attention. I think nowadays I can probably try to do a thing or two again but we’ll see how it goes!
Glad that we connected man, it’s hard to find New England people on here sometimes! Especially skaters!

I'm definitely glad we connected. Until you brought all this to my attention, I was still under the misconception that there was absolutely no skaters or snowboarders on HIVE; or rather I'm talking about my past experience with Steemit. I think I must of just missed when that changed- I stopped really using the platform in the beginning of 2018 due to complications with tech difficulties/mental health problems.
I'd love to check out Jay. I've been fortunate enough to always snowboard for free- whether that be from employment or "sponsorship"(more like just connections in which mountains would put me on their "team"; but I never really considered myself a serious sponsored rider); that in combination of constant financial and car difficulties; the thought of buying a ticket to other mountains has been a very unrealistic thing in my mind in the past. But, things have been getting a lot better for me over the past few years(well, pre-COVID, that is 😂), so I'm definitely more open to going to other mountains in the future.
