"NO ENTRANCE FEE Swimscapade" in Kantakuyan Spring Tabuelan Cebu

The family had a nearly 2 day calendared visit to our parents in Tabuelan Cebu from December 1 and 2, 2023. We rode in our 3- hour journey just this warm Friday afternoon after kids' classes were over. We arrived safe and delighted much to see mama and papa after a few weeks ago of not seeing them.

On our way up to the house, the smelled aroma similecally tugged us up swiftly to the kitchen door as mother's tasty supper was irresistably inviting us for a grab and a bite while it is boiling hot, so perfect for a cool evening. Shortly after few short conversations, we retired peacefully that evening.

THE SWIMSCAPADE

Early morning on Saturday, my husband's announcement thrilled us all when he incited us to bathe at "Kantakuyan Spring." The kids moved in frolic as they heard the unscheduled swimcapades. Without thinking twice, we dashed to the spring some few spitting distance away from the house.

Arriving in, the sun radiantly beamed its ray as it warmly embraced each mortal passing on a narrow, slightly rocky road on our way to a cool shade of greeneries.

Restless, minute, spring creatures creeping on the algaed wall

The spring is halfly fenced with kanipaan or Nipa palm trees.

Going home☺️

Indeed it was a nature view satisfying experience.

Late in the afternoon, we traveled back home in Mandaue City. Off to a ride, all were drowsy and physically waned for an almost two-day weekend experience, yet felt secure and comfortable knowing that the hands of the Almighty were steadfastly shepherding us throughout the day.

REFLECTION

We are all travellers of this fascinating world. Our entrance at birth is free of charge however we are in the "charge" of how we begin and finish working out our own lives as we journey in this material world. And that's a bit pricey and sometimes we can't afford to pay for it in our own way.
