It is most definitely needed as the world has become too soft, How many chances do people need and living in a dangerous country where people are killed for their phones etc the death penalty is required. I wish they would bring it back as it should be a deterrent.
In some countries, especially in those where people consider looting, stealing and killing for whatever they can get their hands on, it is a must, I agree.
