Hello everyone! How are you? I hope you are all fine and safe all the time. Well for today's blog, I will share how I spent my weekend. It was a full-packed weekend since I had lots of important matters I attend to. Supposedly every weekend is my rest day from work being a teacher, instead be a full-time mom and housekeeper, but because I have a lot of scheduled activities it was no longer a rest day but a busy weekend. So here are my activities done and accomplished during my weekend.
Attended Breakfast fellowship
I woke up early and attended our first breakfast meeting for this year 2025. I was assigned as a breakfast Secretariat, therefore I need to be present all the time if possible.
Tooth extraction
After having our breakfast, I went to the dentist to have my scheduled teeth extraction. I had my tooth extraction last month but I discovered that there's still part of my tooth left and still I felt numbness. This time I included the other tooth beside the one extracted. But you know what? The dentist did not successfully pull the remaining tooth or the root because I surrendered. I felt pain with my mouth of constant opening and I felt that when the doctor pulled the root tooth I felt that my inner ear would also be pulled. So I told the doctor to discontinue and have my mouth rest for several weeks. I will go back when I feel something numbed again.
Gardening in School
Since we have a coming evaluation in the garden, I decided to go to the school to follow up with my laborer who pulled out the weeds in my garden. Sad to say I was not able to meet her. I also noticed that there were still grasses in the vegetable pot so I pulled a bit out. I also swept the dried leaves until the rain fell gently so I stopped and went in my husband's office.
A date with my hubby
I went to my hubby's office after gardening in school since we agreed to visit the hardware where we bought the materials for our house fence. We had a misunderstanding last Friday because I got mad at him. After all, he bought a very expensive type of material rather than a cheap one but still durable. He also got mad at me since according to him I was not clear of the type of materials to purchase. At the hardware, I return the expensive materials exchange them with less expensive one, and convert them to another very important item. After our appointment at the hardware, I brought him to the cafeteria to have our refreshments. We ordered a smoothie and a burger. Before our order arrived we spent the time for our discussion or dialogue about what had happened. He now accepts his fault and asks sorry for what he did. When the order arrived, we took photos of what we ordered. It was so yummy and had a satisfied stomach.
I'm thankful that I spent my weekend productively. Thank you, Lord, for the strength and guidance to accomplish all these things.
