Memories were played back today as I witness my friend and brother say YES I DO to the Love of his life. A few years back I was in this same position and I must say, it was one of the best days of my life. The joy one witnessed in such an auspicious event can not be mouthed. Words will surely fail any celebrant, who is asked to express his/her joy level.
Today, friends, family, and well-wishers gather to celebrate the newest couple in town; Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Igoche.
I met Mr. Patrick 8 years back. He is a talented singer and dancer. Our friendship grew into a brotherhood. We have watched each other grow in the things we do, especially in our unquenchable love and passion for the things of God.
I was so excited today, as I watched him say I DO. It was an awesome experience and everyone could see LOVE in the air.
We had too much to eat at the reception. Gifts flooded the ceremony.
It is my earnest prayer that the union will flourish. It won't hit the rock of divorce. Just like they both said "TILL DEATH DO THEM PART" their love will blossom every day that passes by. Their union will be blessed with as many children as they both desire.
