We set off early this morning at 9 am to go to Kourion Beach which is one of the prettiest beaches in Limassol. It's about a 30-minute drive.
Lesley, my sister in law made us some delicious bread rolls with salami, Italian ham, turkey, and tomatoes. Some were on seeded rolls and the others were on sourdough rolls.
Les made these delicious rolls
My mother also made a delicious fruit salad and we had some ice cold Breezers with our lunch.
We swam in the sea and the water was such a nice temperature.
One of the nicest beaches in Cyprus

This is definitely a beach that we will re-visit in the future. Another beach that I love in Cyprus is Governor's beach where I once had a wonderful photoshoot. Of course, the famous beach is at Ayia Napa called Nissi Beach. A couple of months ago I was blessed to stay in a hotel at a beach called Sandy Bay. The hotel was brand new and we happened to pick up a great price. Wanting to share with my family we checked and prices are now up by three times.
This is of course peak season and most of the prices are crazy high.

This seems like a legit way to spend a day Eden, and a nice looking beach too! I've heard Cypress is a pretty nice spot, these photos seem to confirm it. 😁
Is like to get there someday. I hear there's a castle with a museum in it there? Have you been?
Thanks, as always for using THE WEEKEND community.
P.s. with 220+ words I can curate posts to curangel and get you some more rewards - Not saying you have to just suggesting that it's an option. :)
Thank you so much for the heads up - I will certainly look at making my posts a little longer. Cyprus is a lovely island with many hidden treasures. Yes, I have been to the castle and there's also a site at Kourion with an amphitheater.
I've travelled the world quite a lot over the years but never made it to Cypress unfortunately. I'm pretty interested in history though and can't seem to get enough of all that old stuff; I'm not a boring old-dude though, I promise. Lol.
I've also been to many places. I just love travelling. Btw I added a couple of photographs and some text. Will be vigilant about this in future.
Cool, I can see the photos. Nice work. With the text it has to be 200 minimum or I won't be able to curate it for curangel. I'll rarely give a post with less than that a decent vote anyway, but they have standards I have to maintain. If you use Peakd to post there's a word counter in the editor.
Yes, I'm aware of that. I used to use Peakd all the time but lately have been using ecency. Tbh I actually prefer peakd but with ecency you earn points and can often boost your post. I've edited the text now - need to keep in practise for the future. Thanks so much for your support.
Ah ok, I used Ecency a couple times but Peakd is my thing.
You're welcome, and I know you probably think it's dumb, but it is what it is. There's so many I'd like to throw some support at but I have to work around set standards.
Also, is your work on Spotify?
