A very peculiar weekend

This weekend I thought it would be like any other but it was not. The starting point of all this is that I live in a community of approximately 500 houses and in the street where I live there are exactly 30 houses, the electric service as in most of the country is a disaster, but coincidentally a few weeks ago the transformer on this street exploded, and therefore we were left without electricity. Now we all bought another transformer that, according to the technicians, would supply us normally since it was a transformer with much more capacity.

Surprise... on Thursday they installed the new transformer and until you guess what, we only had power for 48 hours, by dawn on Sunday the new transformer exploded.
It has been a weekend of terror, the temperatures oscillate between 49 and 50 degrees Celsius, and in addition to that, last night and because of the drought, some land on the outskirts of town caught fire and there is so much smoke that it is choking us.

So we were outside our house because we had no electricity and it was very hot, the smoke was suffocating us, we had to sleep without light, heat and with a cough caused by the smoke.
The only nice thing about Sunday night, was the moon, there was a beautiful orange moon, first time I see a moon of that color and well I took a little picture but my cell phone is not so good for pictures and by the way it was discharged ....

I googled a little bit about the meaning of this orange moon and I got the following:

The orange moon can be observed at any time of the year and sometimes it also occurs when there is a lot of pollution or dust in the atmosphere. Even in lunar eclipses less light is scattered, causing the Moon to also show that orange color. Source

Find an image more or less what the moon looked like for reference.

This was the image taken by my cell phone.

Another of the most gratifying things is to see exactly where the orange moon was, the sun dawned brighter than every day. Thanking God is what remains after all.

Well I hope you had a great weekend, greetings until next time.

Oh I’m sorry you had to go through that
Sleeping in heat is definitely something I wouldn’t even wish for my worse enemy
I hope they fix the electricity issue soon
