During the Corona Pandemic, me and my wife together with our baby tried our very best to isolate ourselves and not go out as much as possible.
Its been almost 2 YEARS.
Since the corona cases here in Japan is going down and is almost zero here in our place, we decided to have a trip the nearest most popular tourist destination.
Itsukushima, also known as Miyajima
Its just a 40 minute drive from our place but there was alot of people visiting the place and we could not find a parking space nearby the port. We waited for 20 minutes just to park and we had to walk a little bit.
We needed to ride a ferry to the island.
After around 10 minutes, we finally arrived at Miyajima!!
Luckily Japan is not yet fully open to tourists so the place was not very crowded.
It is not my first time here and there is a lot of things to do here. I love climbing the mountain and I already did twice!!! Todays target is the AQUARIUM here in miyajima!!
Since my baby was born I am just focusing on how I will make her happy!!
and of course my Wife too!!!
We were greeted by a gentle deer and my baby was very fascinated.
I was surprised to see that the main attraction here which is the Torii is still being renovated. I went here with my friend about 2 years ago when they started the renovation and it is still ongoing.

Miyajima is also famous for its delicious Oysters!
There was a lot of signage so you will not get lost but it was easier when I found this map.
And our destination was at the bottom.

After around 2 hours of walking and looking, it was time to go home. Maybe next time I will climb the mountain with baby!!!
Of course we cant go home without eating the very yummy fish cakes fried momiji manju!!
It was an amazing experience!! Had so much Fun!! We are busy at work right now so I don't know when can we go out again but I will be sharing it to you guys again that is for sure!!!
