What day of the week is your favorite? Everyone has a favorite day. Your favorite day will be the happiest for you. Most people love the weekend like Sunday because it is recognized by many sectors of society as the day of rest. On this day, all family members usually gather. As soon as Sunday comes, the family members are excited because this is the expected day of fun.
Some families will enjoy an adventure in a place with beautiful views while others will buy a lot of food to have a party at home and enjoy singing along in the videoke, a hobby that Filipinos love.
My dear Hivers, I will share with you our experience of having fun on Sunday. Before this day arrived, we agreed in advance with many of our friends to bathe on the beautiful beach of San Remigio.
When we arrived at the beach, our 4-year-old son went straight to the beach because he wanted to take a bath. I accompanied my child and just took a bath at the same time while watching over him. This beach is made up of fine and white sand.
This is a good timing for our bathing because the water is not too deep so we don't worry too much about our little children who can't swim.
When we are swimming on the seawater, our body does not feel much heat even though the weather is hot because there are small springs on the beach that emit cold water. We're just going near it because it's so refreshing to feel that it's cool at the bottom even though the environment is hot at the top.
We have a lot of family and friends who take a bath together and each family brings food and drinks. Some of our friends were cooking there for our favorite dishes. There is also a facility in the resort where we can cook for those who like to grill or barbecue. Many types of food are prepared in every family.
During lunch, we gather all the food on a long table so that each individual can choose the food they love to eat. After getting your favorite food, you can go to the cottages to sit down comfortably while eating because there are tables and chairs in the cottages.
Some bring raw foods that are ready to eat like sea urchins. It's so much fun to observe friends who gather around on one basin of sea urchins eating delicious and fresh seafood. These sea urchins are good because I remember when we lived in Malapascua when the people there feel dizzy because of anemia they immediately go to the sea to eat sea urchins. But the sure thing about this food is that it is loaded with nutrients.
After our lunch, some of our friends relaxed under the shade of the tree.
A few minutes later when the lunch was finished, some of our friends made games so that everyone could have fun differently. Others enjoy singing on a portable videoke. Others just enjoy talking about their experiences.
While the children especially our son enjoyed participating in basketball even though he was not yet knowledgeable about that game.
One thing that amused the children was when a piglet escaped from the cage and arrived at the resort. Chased to be captured again by the children and adults. We saw in our son's face the extreme joy when he participated in chasing the piglet. At last, the piglet was captured by its owner.
Those are the happy moments of our bath. I came back and looked at the beach, the water had receded as a result of low tide. I thought of taking pictures of the whole resort.
While I was touring on the beach, the children enjoyed playing in the fine sand. Others collect small fish and make miniature fishponds. In the meantime, I saw small springs on the shore.
I also saw a small crab and quickly took a picture of it.
Well, time went by so fast. It's almost getting dark and it's time to go home because I'm tired after having fun for a while. When I told our son to come home, it seemed that he wanted to stay longer on the beach. However, the darkness is unstoppable to cover the light. So we departed from our friends and drove home.

What a joyous weekend indeed! I always love to see family and friends reunited at the beach over some good food and good talks. What I love most about your beach trip is that you had sea urchins. My FAVORITE!!! It is best to eat it at the beach where you could just wash the dirt away with sea water. plus I think the seawater adds more flavoring hahahaha. Nonetheless, it was great that you all had fun! Keep safe☺︎♡!
