To create connections is wonderful, facilitates communication between friends boyfriends family regardless of where in the world you are just to have internet and be an active user in any of the various networks that exist. They are also quick sources of information on social networks we can find news of the moment which allows us to keep us to keep abreast of everything that happens in our country and the world.
Also the networks are a business opportunity we know that with the creation of content is the perfect opportunity for entrepreneurs and companies to promote products and services and thus connect with customers and thus generate sales and in turn money.
Not to mention of course that it can be a good place to find support on specific issues such as mental health, even political communities.
But as not everything is 100% there are also negative aspects and one of them is the spread of fake news that only generates confusion among the population . Another point is the addiction to networks ; excessive and continuous use generates mental health problems such as anxiety and depression ( I say this with property and according to my experience) I remember that some time ago I lived a long time on Instagram lived comparing myself with other perfect lives and other girls with perfect bodies thus generating a strong anxiety and nonconformity with my life because I did not have what they published on their page.
In short, from my perspective, social networks are not 100% bad or 100% good, we just need to know how to strike a balance.
Hola Andrea.
