This is a continuation of https://ecency.com/hive-168869/@elsh/exploring-caves-on-my-kayak
and below is a picture of my favourite cave from the nearby beach.
I moved on from my favourite cave and found a place only accessible by kayak. Little bombies(rocky outcrops) litter the area and it’s too dangerous to try and bring a boat in.
You can see a bombie in the foreground here and the darkness beyond the rocks was another cool cave to paddle into.
One thing i like to try is taking photos of myself above the water with my gopro underneath the water. The hope is to get a ripple effect on the shot.
This next cave i went into gave a small boom sound as waves washed into the darkness. The ceiling was pretty low on this one but i ventured in as far as I could.
My next stop was the archway- such a beautiful natural formation. I dragged my kayak up onto the beach so I could spend some time there.
I ventured out into the water because the day was heating up. Was refreshing to immerse myself into the cool ocean. This is the oceanside view if the archway and surrounds.
Since i was in the water already I decided to take a swim around to the beach that connected to the archway. The water was so clear and made amazing patterns on the ocean floor.
Please join me for the final part 3 soon, where ill include video of me falling off the kayak.
All photos are my own and taken on iphone 14 or Gopro 9 black.
Refreshing yourself in the cool ocean - that sounds cool :D
How exciting and fun it would be to go.
What a beautiful place!! Super cool caves!
