Happy Happy 3rd Birthday to the Weekend Engagement!
I chose a topic and then I got so sidetracked by it, that I've spent the last 2,5hrs looking at things online 🤣
While there were some more serious topics this weekend, I decided I'd keep it fun and write about boobs. No, just kidding although while I was looking for a gift, I found myself a pin badge. It says "Small breasted girls have big hearts". It's literally a noddy badge made just for me!
But now in all seriousness, having only $3USD is not a lot of money and probably wouldn't go very far. I know that this was the challenge Galen was setting up. This is like the ultimate Secret Santa Challenge with a teeny tiny little budget.
So G-Dog. Challenge? Challenge accepted. You know me, I never back down from a challenge. And you never said anything about not cheating a little. So postage doesn't count as you described it as $3USD for the actual gift. Semantics.
I found you something fun that I figured would go well because you like word smashups. Here's your spoonerism badge. Do you like it?
If not, then fine. Move on to my next idea. After reading your photography gear post, I thought I'd maybe find you something for that. Again, this amount of cash really won't go very far, but I'm a bargain hunter and figure this will come in very handy. I couldn't see any filters on your lenses and I'm sure you always keep your caps on, but having filters on is always good as an extra layer of protection. Also, far more difficult to lose because it's attached to the lens. Some of them can decrease the light coming in, but not by much, maybe by one stop. Unless it's a polarising lens and you're silly like me and leave it on its darkest 😂 You can picture me looking at the images with a screwed up face going "WTBF?" can't you??
Then I decided that if that one doesn't float your boat, I'd get you a printed pic of Cleo. I know you'd like that.
So as in the theme of threes, I had to give you three options. Hope they were fun. They're all sugar free, except Cleo, she's really sweet! Thanks so much @galenkp for a cool community and thought provoking, inspirational and plain old fun topics each week.
Let's go with the badge, it seems to fit. Besides, I use cling wrap as lens filters and I have the real Cleo so photos aren't necessary.

I once used the bottom of a glass coke bottle for a lens filter too...and if you believe that you're fucken bonkers.
I do have to wonder what kind of effect that would have other than absolute blurr 😁
My photos aren't that great so a little blur won't matter much.
That's a cool idea - a printed photograph is so perfect, I can't answer this one myself as I can't top it, only copy it. xx
