Merry Christmas. Its been a while, and that is because I went away with my aunt and cousins for a week to Langebaan! It was awesome we stayed in a guest house across from the beach and there was kitesurfing everyday. The first day we got there while we waited for the others to arrive my brother and dad(they are the kite surfers) pumped up the kites and went out. My mom and I sat on the beach watched and took videos. Until the others arrived and the day ended.
For the next 3 days it was more of the same until Sunday which is when I tried to fly the kite. I am very light and small and the wind was strong and my dad was showing me how to do it whilst holding on for dear life. We played body dragged in the water and my dad let go in the end to see if I could do it by myself, I ended up over powering the kite and doing a jump and dragging myself through the water!
The holiday was amazing and fun for all of us we flew kites, ate waffles and ice cream and played card and board games.
When the Langebaan holiday was over and we all went home it was Christmas eve. My brother and I woke up there were presents under the tree and the stockings were full we rushed to my parents room to wish them a merry Christmas. Then we started cooking while we waited for the others to arrive( the same people in Langebaan). When they arrived (late as usual) we opened presents and I got one of my favourite presents of all time.
It's a box for holding Magic the Gathering cards.
When all was done it was an amazing holiday.
