Accident

train-crash-396263_960_720.jpg

The incident is about 3 years old. In those days, my duty was to give medical help to trauma cases in the emergency department of the hospital.

At 2:00 in the night, a call was received that a super-fast passenger train loaded with about 1500 passengers and a goods train had collided about 4 km away.

I immediately reached the spot along with my team and started treating the passengers. Apart from our medical team, other people from the administration were also helping the people trapped in the accident.

Our medical team gave first aid to many passengers and also sent them to the nearest hospitals through our medical ambulances.

The death toll and casualties due to the accident that occurred at night was much higher.

Passengers on a long journey were sleeping comfortably at 1:00 a.m.
The speed of the train was more than 130 mph.

The Excel of the bogy of the goods train was broken, and due to that, the bogie leaned to one side and collided with the oncoming passenger train.

Due to this sudden collision, all the passengers sitting on the train were either horrified to death or seriously injured.

This was the worst thing that I saw with my own eyes in this accident. At the time this accident happened, the injured were trapped in the coaches of the train.

Some local people started robbing them on the pretext of their help. Instead of saving their lives, jewellery, money, and goods started being stolen.

At the scene of the incident, there was screaming and crying. Someone's hands were cut off; someone's legs were trapped in the bogie.

But on the other hand, the work of terrible cruelty was going on.
Being a medical person By the way, we have to face some accidental victims every day, so we are used to it.

But after seeing this incident, my heart also cried. Whenever I remember this incident, I feel uncomfortable. I would never want to see such a thing again in my life.

Therefore, I wish that this incident and this terrible cruelty could be completely erased from my memory.

Hello @fantom22

This is indeed a shocking and from what I can tell, must have been a traumatic event to witness the aftermath of. While I know that medical professionals must see horrific things every day on duty, that certainly doesn't mean that you are immune to the effects of them and how they can haunt you for a long time afterwards.

The cruelty that you mention of the people that were taking advantage of those trapped and injured is absolutely awful and people like that deserve the harshest punishments.

I'm sorry that you had to witness that. Thank you for sharing this story, I can tell that it was difficult for you to do so.

There is every kind of person in the world, some people think of their benefit in the sufferings of others. You have told the truth, they are part of the harshest punishment, sooner or later they get punished either by society or by God.
Thank you very much for your response

This must have been a terrible thing to have seen indeed.

Some local people started robbing them on the pretext of their help. Instead of saving their lives, jewellery, money, and goods started being stolen.

That part disturbed me though, the looting of the victims. Human beings are despicable creatures.

Thanks a lot, this is my first attempt. Such people are against humanity. And the money earned in this way destroys the peace of mind. They never enjoy happiness in life.
heartfelt thanks again.

I'm sorry this happened by mistake and double click, I followed you only a minute ago, there can be no reason to unfollow. I have a lot to learn from you.

Wow, this is indeed a terrific sight, I don't know how the medical professionals do but I am glad I never opted for such a career because I am sure to have fainted on the sight of mere blood.

Just reading your writeup, I am imagining the sight and I feel like crying already, it must have been a traumatic situation for you guys most especially on such night. And to worsen the situation, looting all in the name of helping was done, that's so bad.

I always thought it was only in my country that such happening takes place, but now I know more.

Instead of people to sympathize with those crying, they are busy stealing items. This is just human character for you.

This is enough to always have this incident in you memory.

So sorry to hear all this. I have never witnessed such and I truly do feel for them. Imagine people's hand being cut off, some with their legs hooked someone, all crying for help and all people whom they thought ran to their aid could do was to rob them? Well, God will judge them.

Medical personnels are really doing a good job, God will reward you.

thanks a lot.@adoore-eu I appreciate your sentiments. Human beings have been separated from all living beings by making them sensitive. God never forgives those who do bad deeds, sooner or later their end is bad.

Yes, everyone will reap the reward of the handwork. Both good and bad. Well done once again

Accidents are something one wishes to erase from memory, irony of humans is their nature when on freeways everything slows to a halt trying to have a good look! Looting from injured is another factor we face here!

High respect for anyone who works under these circumstances .
