I was very tempted to showcase our fridge and prove that I am not a Hannibal. But in the end I decided to take on a different topic.

I live with my mother and I am disabled so I get some money from my disability without doing anything. For some people this may seem like ideal situation. They would happily just drink all that money away and wait for the next payment. I don't think that this is a smart way to live. Instead of that I am investing most of the little I money I get to Hive and Splinterlands. Basically everything that is left after I pay for things like gas and electricity goes this way. I also manage to sell a few of my art pieces. I also help one of our neighbours to cut her grass and other to gather firewood. Originally I intended to do this for free but they insist to paying me a bit for this help. Way am I doing all this when I am already getting money for my disability? Because one of my goals in life is to earn enough so I don't have to relay just on my disability/government. Ideally I would want to earn at least five or six hundred a month from my art and Hive/ HBD. That would not be a lot but I should be able to manage to survive with that much without relying on anyone else. I believe that I am doing the best I can with the time and resources I have available to me. But only time will tell if I am right and I will be able to achieve the outcome I want. If not at least I will be able to tell myself that I did something to improve my situation. It took me 7+ years and (by my standards) a lot of investments but now that better future outcome is at least feasible. That is why I intend to walk my own path till the day I die. I will probably never become really rich(unless Hive goes to 10-15 dollars)... But I will be able to live my life with some pride that not everything was handed to me and some things I earned with my own effort and that I did what I enjoyed.

Also money for disability is not really much, you always need an extra income
