RE: Dear River: Feel the Anxiety and Do it Freaking Anyway

LMAO. India is noisy for sure. One of my frens is a youtuber and when he started making videos from home, he realized that he was living in an area with too much background noise. Ultimately he moved to a separate place just to pursue his passion.

And I am glad that you are deciding to do it anyway even with all the anxiety and fear. Traveling is worth it. Come back to India soon. Good luck!

I can't wait to come back to India! I'm so excited about it. Whereabouts are you? I just wish it wasn't so noisy.

It made me laugh, once we stayed in a 'nature resort' just outside of Rishikesh. The host said 'oh, it's so quiet here in the countryside, you'll sleep so well'. Well. There was heavy rain on the tin roof which sounded like thunder, barking dogs, and roosters right outside our door.

'Did you sleep well'? he smiled. I didn't have the heart to say we were awake all night!
