Hello my dear friend…
Its so good to be back because i crave writing so much. This week engagement theme is just right what i had in mind to write. I have so many things i want to say about this and this feels like just the right place to share it out.
Last week, i had such a busy busy weekend. I checked in the car that the total km me and my husband had just for the last weekend was over 500km. We went through city to another city everyday for the last three weekend days. We went to the beach, to concert, to my mother in law’s house, to a reunion, its all in different city and it was so hard for my body. I had a pain in my tail bone and its something so drastically different to my usual calming daily life. I need something that can make me go through the day, a booster that can make my eyes open while i meet people and socialize. What else is that other than coffee? I dont know how i can survive the last weekend without coffee. It feels like my body was so sluggish and my eyes were barely opened before i took my coffee.
We were staying in my mother in law’s house and they lived near a big city so when we were looking for coffee to buy, we have so many option to choose from. Just right on time when i was scrolling social media looking for what’s people love in the area, i saw a video where a young lady have a blind test to see her knowledge about coffee. It was interesting to me because out of 4 choices of iced coffee that she try, she named Tuku first and without any doubt. I checked the comments and then i read so many comments about this coffee from Tuku. They said that Tuku coffee is so different from other brand that you can tell its Tuku just by one sip of it.
Well, i have never tried of Tuku before. In fact i have never ever heard of their name but when i checked on their instagram account, they have so many followers and branch. I was excited and told my husband to drive to the nearest Tuku coffee shop we can find. We were arrived just by driving 15 minutes and eventhough the place looks empty and small from outside, it was pretty crowded inside. When we came inside, there’re 5 people waiting in line in front of us. That was only 9 a.m , it was so early in the weekend yet i saw so many people already ordering coffee. I chuckled a bit when i saw it.
The place looks so small from the outside but the design of this place is quite peculiar because they have so many hidden spot we can sit and enjoy our coffee in there. The menu is also very simple and as we can see they mostly selling coffee in here. They have some snacks too but its more of something that we can stuff to our stomachs while drinking coffee rather than a proper meal.
I cant stay long in the coffee shop since i have to go to another city to meet my husband’s friends because they have a small reunion. We just order the drinks, sit while drinking our coffee for 5 minutes and then go with a takeaway coffee.
The taste of their coffee is good, its creamy and sweet. Sadly, i dont feel the energy boost i expect to get from coffee from their coffee. It was such a let down. The place was having a great recommendation so i expected to get a coffee that was not only taste good, but also feel good. I was still sleepy through the day. Oh, i also bought two onigiri from them because we went out of the house without eating and i dont want to hurt my stomach with coffee without giving my stomach some warms up with onigiri. Onigiri also taste so so. It really makes me wonder why Tuku are so popular.
Thank you 😊
