Smiles and emergencies: My weekend as a dentist

Hello everyone!

As many of you know, weekends are usually synonymous with rest, disconnecting and enjoying moments of leisure. But in my case, as a dentist, weekends are often the opposite. And I'm not complaining, not at all!

This past weekend has been a clear example. My schedule has been full of appointments, from routine cleanings to emergencies that have arisen at the most unexpected times. And oral health doesn't understand schedules, does it? A cracked tooth, severe pain or infection can pop up at any time, and that's where I come in.

I love my profession and my passion for it drives me to always be available for my patients. Seeing a smile transformed after a treatment or relieving the pain of someone in need are priceless rewards.

These days I have been running from one office to another, seeing patients with the same dedication and love as always. And although I sometimes feel exhausted, the satisfaction of knowing that I have been able to help someone fills me with energy.

Now, while I rest at home with my faithful companion Kamaru, I take the opportunity to share this small part of my life with you. Because even though weekends are busy, I always find moments to disconnect and recharge my batteries.

What about you, how did you experience this weekend? I'd love to know if you've ever had a dental emergency, especially on a weekend. How did you deal with it? Do you know anyone who has gone through a similar situation?

Share your experience in the comments! Your stories can help others know what to do in case of an emergency and better understand the work we dentists do.
