Weekends are time to refresh and celebrate with loved ones and creat another unique memory.
This weekend I attended a graduation ceremony which i tagged:
A party down the memory lane.
It is the time of the year in Nigeria where various schools holds a graduation ceremony for the graduands and this time I was invited to one of it.

It a beautiful Saturday morning here and it comes with a lot of owa mbe (celebration). Although am not the party type but whenever am invited to a party I do attend.
Today seems to be the graduation ceremony of a close friend and am invited to come grace the occasion with I happily accepted bacause it been a while I went out.
The occasion statertd at around past 10am and it was a beautiful scenerio to behold. The hall was well decorated with off white and gold linen, balloons and beautiful bouquet, which makes the environment Seren and colourful. And also the staff wore a matching outfit which i couldn't help but take their photographs.

As the event went on, every classes made their different presentations and I must confess their educators did a lot of work on the learners for them to present beautiful well without flaws.
The most interesting part of it all was when the learners displace various cultures. Every cultural groups represented were beautiful dressed in their various cultural attire. The Hausa group, the Yoruba and the Igbo cultures were represented very well. I enjoyed the sound of the drums and music been sang in the local dialects. It was a beautiful sight to behold that I couldn't resit but dance to the tunes of beat of their presentation.
I was very much thrilled with the ballet presentation were young kids (within the range of 1-5 years) display various ballet moves as if they've been doing that since when they are still in the womb. They were given standing ovation with a lot of cash gift for their brilliant performance.
I was very touched when grade 4 sang their fairware song. It made me remembered those good old days and the beautiful, unique memory of my primary school days. I almost shered tears to the touching and departing song they sang.
There were alots of academic honours received by learners who made outstanding performance for the academic session.

At the end of it all I was served a delicious Nigerian party jollof rice with a cold soda drink to push it down my gullet.
I really enjoyed the party and I must confess it worth going. This was how my weekend goes for this week.
