RE: Weekend-engagement topic week 29: Talkin' toys

in Weekend Experiences4 years ago

Barbie dolls used to be very popular here with the girls but I'm not sure if that's still the case? Maybe I'm out of the loop as I don't have kids but I don't think they are a popular. I guess a kid is more inclined to want a smart phone these days right? 🤣

It's nice hat you handed your toys on when you were done to let someone else enjoy them. Most of my toys were second hand so that's how I got them, from other people's generosity.

Hello @galenkp and thank you.

If today's kids want technology and virtual games.

Thinking about it, I have seen very few children with traditional toys and today December 25th for me hehehe there is no child on the street showing his toys.

I already have my teddy bear, the last toy my father gave me when I was 20 years old 😜 brought it to me from China, when he went to a job.

You make a good point and we were only commenting yesterday that there were no kids out playing with stuff...All inside on their video games and smartphones I guess.

I remember those Hard Rock Cafe bears...I've only been to the Hard Rock in Melbourne which is where I saw it. That was years ago, back in 2004. I don't know if they are even still open are they?

Umm I don't know either. 🤔🤭. The one who entered those cafes was my dad years ago.

That bear is Chinese and rests in a closet to Venezuela 😜🤣 @galenkp

A HardRock Bear! Finest kind. I've only been to the ones in Las Vegas but I think the bear is pretty universal.

It's a good gift, I'm really glad you still have it!

If it is beautiful, that bear will pass on to the next generations, if I have children they will be theirs, if not my nephews.

I imagine that a coffee in that place must have been expensive, but you gave yourself a taste like few others @bigtom13
