Where I come from (Australia) that's considered a little rude. It's customary for a person to offer a greeting. Maybe manners are different in your country.

No worries, I guess I feel that you've been interacting with me for some time and with the #weekend-engagement concept so a simple, hey how are you? could work well. Then drop the link and you're done. The same goes for any interaction you have on the blockchain, being personable will get your further.
