RE: What did I do all week?

I actually wonder about the benefit of eBikes anyway. I mean, why power them with electricity when legs work fine? It doesn't seem eco-friendly at all to make things that aren't required because something already exists to do the job. i.e. Legs to peddle a bike.

Sort:

I was always a fan of cycling with the legs that I had. I must admit though, I watched a video in which a dude showed how it really helped going up big hills n shit and that is what tempted me!

Lol...It's going up the big hills that makes cycling suck...Coming down, no worries. I think the same as you but jeez they're costly. I've tried to justify having one and am off to the store today to gather some information but...I think it's cost-preventative for me.

Yeah, I feel ya there. I can't justify that cost either. The good lady would literally shit an egg. And it wouldn't be a good egg!!!

Don't worry, in a year or two there will be Chinese knock-offs for a couple of hundred dollars that are probably better than the kind of thing that's out just now!

Yeah, I was thinking that but...

Tesla even make cars in China now. And predictably the quality nosedived. I'll not be buying one.

Ever since Tesla started manufacturing cars at its Shanghai Gigafactory in China, there have been reports about quality control, overall vehicle quality, feature availability, and much more. ... The automaker has made it clear that its made-in-China vehicles will showcase a new level of attention to detail...

I avoid Chinese made products where possible. I'd rather walk.

They are getting cunning over here, everything going through resellers to try and obfuscate the source of the original build. Sometimes they don't realise that if you build a thing from parts made in somewhere that it is still a thing from that place!

Yeah, it's...Well, you know I think.

I check labels in the supermarket man...If it says the wrong country then...Back on the shelf. I'm like that with most of what I buy. The issue is the point you make.
