I think you missed my point so I will say it more clearly.
Tagging users to alert them of your posts in the hope of gaining a vote is only going to gain you bad reputation. It is considered bad manners and @azircon will agree.
If you would like attention from me, or any other user, and possible votes, you'll have to engage with me on my posts, with meaning and validity, on a regular basis and over time - It is the only way. Only in that way willmay you attract the sort of attention you want.
I feel I am being quite plain here, and also rather polite. I can make it a lot clearer also, and in fact I think I will.
