Yes it was the 30th and it was Friday.
It is customary in my country that the weekend starts on Friday and ends on Sunday, it is a cultural thing to look at the weekend from Friday 🤦🏽♀️.

When I am in your country I'll be happy to call Friday a weekend, but in most of the world, to the best of my knowledge and based on my extensive travels around the world, Friday is not the weekend which is why I clearly state that a weekend is defined as Saturday and Sunday for the purposes of this community.
